The Foreign Ministry on Sunday said it launched a "vehement protest" against the pages, titled "10 points for understanding Takeshima" -- the Japanese name for the islets -- "and asked for them to be deleted." The ministry said the protest was prompted by the new availability of the material in 10 languages, up from three. The Korean government has launched a PR counteroffensive with publications like "The Truth of Dokdo" through diplomatic missions overseas.
